      <image:caption>Platoon 12 almost lost a man in the first weeks in Ovamboland, when Luwes rode through a steel wire fence at 60 km/h and the top wire caught him by the neck. Here he is standing 4th from right after getting up slowly and painfully. He was emergency caseveaced shortly after this photo was taken when his neck started swelling up from air escaping under the skin through his torn windpipe.
